This site is open to the public and is presented by the Houston Chapter in keeping with the Ikebana International motto,
“Friendship through Flowers”.
Meetings are held the First Tuesday of each month September through May at the Houston Garden Center 1500 Herman Drive Houston Texas 77004 713/284 -1986 (unless otherwise specified).

Benefits of Membership
- Ikebana International Magazine: Three annual issues in English; illustrated with color plates of Ikebana arrangements and related art.
- International and Regional Activities Newsletters: Inform members of chapter, headquarters and regional Ikebana activities.
- Regional Conferences and World Convention: Conferences are held for educational and cultural purposes internationally. A World Convention is held in Japan every five years.
- Symposia: Workshops where I. I. members can study Ikebana under the direction of flower Masters.
- Monthly Chapter Meetings: Provide regular forums for members to study, exhibit and participate in Ikebana demonstrations. Houston Chapter meetings are held on the first Tuesday of the month, September through May.
